This video from Akihiko Matsumoto shows a neat Max/MSP/Jitter patch for interpreting graphic scores. Using image processing from Jitter, it appears to scan the image, identifying colors and locations to map to a set of sine generators. Very cool patch, and one I’d want to see try to read Xenakis’ Mycenae Alpha.
